Problem:
I have been having faint grayish/white smoke coming out from my exhaust, only under boost.

Things i have done:
1. I got a compression test done on my car and it came out with nice numbers:
240 | 235 | 235 | 230
#4 #3 #2 #1

thank god, i had a lump in my throat the entire test.

2. Took off piping, no oil in piping what so ever.

So what step i should i take next? i talked to a guy that runs a shop, and is somewhat familiar with turbos and told me to check my downpipe for oil, to see if the oil seals are bad.

Does anybody else know what should do?

I can't help ya out but I'm curious, why is it that a the #1 cylinder always seems to loose compression first? Does it have anything to do with the type of manifold?

Leakdown test!

 

yes, compression tests dont mean **** in my experience...

 

I dunno about comp. tests not meaning ****, but I would do a leakdown test for sure. Usually the "hot" cylinders in the B16A2s were in cylinder 3. Are you just running the blue box, or did you get the Hondata tuned?

I got the Hondata tuned, and evrything runs nice and smooth. I have been trying to get a leakdown test, but all the automotive and performance places i go, nobody does leakdown tests.

Does anybody know a place in the bay area that does leakdown testing?
