Turbo b16 - low on power?
What’s up guys. Recently purchased a 00 si already pretty setup. Got it for a steal so couldn’t pass it up. Unfortunately I don’t know too much about the build so I’m starting a bit blind.
what I know:
b16a block
weisco pistons (no idea about compression)
eagle rods
acl oil pump
pr3-4 head
gsr cams
ferrea valves
gsc valvetrain
hondata s300
ID1300’s
dw400
VSR DBB 6262 83ar
Ranchbuilt top mount manifold
turbo smart WG
no name 50mm bov
csf core double back door fmic w/3” piping
3” hood exit
I think that’s it for the go fast stuff. The car made 468/312 on e85 at 26psi at VIP Performance in Portland. These numbers seem over 100hp low according to another very reputable tuner. I couldnt get ahold of RanchBuilt (they built the car) or VIP Performance (tuned it) I’m sure they’re busy. It’s all good.
any ideas where to starting searching for this missing horsepower? I appreciate any knowledge or input. Thanks guys
