What all wouldi need to use 50 shot safely? i know colder plugs but how many steps and would there be nething else? i have intake and exhaust and came across a kit for 255 bux so i figured i would buy and try it out for bit. by the motor is a d15b7.(plz dont flame for wanting to do this to a d15b7) thanx for the help

 

Considering your motor is in good shape, 2 step colder plugs, 2 degrees timing retard, and make sure you always run atleast 91-93 octane fuel.

use a timing light and turn your distributor

just get some plugs and run high octane gas for a 55 shot....and for the timing...i would just leave it stock...some people run 75 shot without retarding the timing

hes said he wants to run a 50 shot or whatever....im pretty sure a 50 shot on stock timing isnt gonna be that bad on his motor....but since hes not gonna buy a new ignition might as well retard the timing since it wont cost you any money..

Even if he bought an ignition system, he would still need to retard his timing.
