Hello all ! Finally got myself another civic and was doing a parts order check and I noticed the ECT sensor was present but the connector was missing… upon searching I found that the connector was cut from the harness. Car runs fine minus a CEL for P0141. Is there any reason the previous owner would have cut this off ? I’m going to order a new wire/ connector and install it but curious as to what reason this could have been deleted lol.

Any comments or insight is greatly appreciated.
