Swap help
OK, I currently have a 1995 Honda del Sol and it originally had a D16z6 engine with matching transmission that was not working order that I sold.
I recently recently picked up an engine/transmission, which I did not pay close attention to and it turned out to be a D15Z6 instead. Now it does have very low miles on this engine and transmission and ideally, I would like to use it, but I’m kind of at a standstill point because I don’t know what I need to make it work in this car.
I have the original D16z6 harness, but from what I’ve been reading, this is an OBD2 and my car is OBD1.
Looking for some insight here on what engine harness I’m going to need and what ECU I’m going to need as well to make this work. I’m going for just a reliable daily driver with a/c.

If it was me, I would probably use the existing OBD1 harness, and program/tune an OEM OBD1 ecu for the D15.
They are uncommon so I don't think you'll find a 'basemap', but tuning it would be easy (for someone that knows how to tune).
The reason you wouldn't want to stick with the OBD2 ecu is because you'll need to connect all the emissions equipment that doesn't exist in your car in order to make the OBD2 ecu happy. More mess.
