engine rpm to turbo rpm

what is the ratio of engine rpm at the crank to rpm of a turbo on any car? thanks

somewhere around 1000:1 or more... turbo:engine

i would of thought it would be much lower. I've heard turbo's typically spin 100,00-180,000 rpms. I could be wrong though.
which would be something like 17:1
