Default how the hel do you get high rpm

I build my engine when I took it to the dyno and it didn't pull the RPM that I expected. I'm just woundering how you get the rpm out of your engine. I had my car tuned at Balance Performance, ED told me that he has never had luck tunning Crower Stage 2 Turbo Cams. I know I've seen people run them and get high rpm, just woundering if my turbo cause at 19 lbs of boost the turbo played out. I also have the Crower 10,000 rpm springs.

How high of an RPM were you expecting? Is there a reason you need to be attaining this particular RPM level?

have you tried using a bigger exhaust housing on your turbo? what size is it right now? im also assuming you have a massive intake mani also?

Why don't you try slightly taller tires so you can stay in fourth gear and not have to rev that high....UNLESS you are making power through 10K rpm.

x2 try a .82 hot side. that will make a major difference in where your turbo carries your powerband too.

I'm confused, what kind of motor is this?? LS motors don't turn 10K or even 9K, ever... If it's a vtec motor then it should have been pulling past 7500 when it was stock and you have a bottleneck or it needs more tuning.

agreed but i have seen a few turbo street set up b series flattin out after 7500. i think thats what he means. but i too would like to know, to the op: is your dyno graph flatening out after 7500 or plumiting down?

Here is a dyno from Evans-Tuning.com that seems comparable to your setup. It's a 9:1 Compression B16 making about the same power. The power flattens after about 7500 but it has stock cams. Like you said maybe it's your turbo, you said your exhaust is 3 inch is your downpipe 3 inch too?

No mentions of bore and stroke anywhere in this thread......

I doubt your engine will produce any power after 8500 rpm, but good luck.

better you dont say things if your unsrue. the b16b is actually the best for revving. it has to do with a number of things from rs ratio to weight of parts to balanceing of parts.

So you're saying that a longer stroke means nothing when it comes to higher revs?

whats the problem? looks like a typical turbo dyno graph. if you want it to keep building like a full out drag car you need a .82 exhuast housing end of story.
