ok. me and my friend are havin a little competition. hes gonna get an LS with a turbo set up in his 89 hatchback.. and I want to get a b16/turbo set up. but I dont know which one would be faster?? but I ALSO wanted to go all motor LS/VTEC. or gsr/turbo. its a big decision I need as much imput as I can get from anyone. which set up do you think I should get? please help. my goal is just to be able to beat him

 

GSR turbo is gonna yield the biggest power gains out of those three setups, while being more reliable than the LS/VTEC setup.

 

thats the set up I wanted to get originally but it costs LOTS of $$$$$ that I dont have. and I heard that the LS/VTEC is high compression or something anyway. I wanted to run all motor but I want a turbo. how much does a swap like that usually run? (gsr/turbo)

 

I would advise against the LS/VTEC unless you're getting everything fully built.

 

gsr turbo would be the fastest...if not then go with b16 turbo

 

ya i think im gonna go gsr/turbo but the thing is what all do I need to get for the swap(gsr)? axles? shift linkage? whats EVERYHTHING i need?
