Default Trying to hook up an MSD 6AL some questions

I have a 95 LS Motor. The kid I bought the car from gave me a new 6AL with two step. I was reading over how to install it tonight and I have a few questions.
Does this motor have an internal coil?
I do not see an external coil so I am assuming it does.

Do I need a Blaster coil and power cap to hook this up? Or can I just use my stock Distributor cap and coil?

The plug wires on the car say Triple Magnitic Core are these safe to use?

TIA

your motor has an internal coil. you can get an blaster coil and use a msd cap if you want to but you can also use the factory coil and cap. it just depends on what you want to do.

Will it make a difference if I use the stock cap? My understanding is all I have to do is drill a hole in that cap to connect the wires to the coil. Is this correct?

not really save your money, just use the stock coil/ cap pending they are still in good condition, and YES just wire up the internal coil and drill a small hole and connect the wires

In the instructions it was saying about drilling a few small holes in the cap to let air in to eliminate arcing. Did you do this? I do not feel comfortable drilling extra holes in my cap for fear of speeding up the process of rust.

no just drill one hole and then silicon it after the wires are ran through.
