Default 01 civic ex Kswap and manual swap

I have a 2001 civic ex coupe with the d17a2 (vtech) and the auto trans. Got the car for an amazing price and want to know a few things.

1 Would a k series bolt up to the 1.7 manual trans?

2 What k series should I go for?

if you know any forms that have a k-series swap guide please share them. Last question is how hard is a AWD swap for these cars. It seems pretty simple since there’s a kit for EVERYTHING in these cars. I know it’s a lot of work but this a project car and I plan on building this over the next few years. I’m excited to own my first Honda and see what it’s all about.

2 What k series should I go for? If you are staying all motor and stock internally... I would use the K24A2 (or JDM equivalent)

You picked the worst Civic chassis for this plan... and there are FAR fewer kits available for the 7G chassis than say the 5G or 6G chassis. Going AWD is going to be really challenging and a ton of fabrication will be required.
