Wont go past 3k after driving for awhile
I have a 93 civic hatch that when I drive it, after about 10 mins i cant go past 3k rpm. If I turn it off and on again I can drive it again normal until it hits. I have a CEL for tps but i swapped it and it is still there. When it goes into "limp mode" it gets lower and lower rpm until it dies and it sounds like it is due to spark. I have changed sparks, new ignition coil, cleaned injectors, and swapped tps twice. I think it could be the tps plug or the wiring, but would that send it into limp mode? Any advice helps!
When you replaced the TPS did you use a multimeter to calibrate the sensor? This must be done or else it will be off and cause the same issues. Also check the 3 wires that go into the plug housing they get pulled or break from old age and heat.
