crank angle sensor in a JDM B20B???
99 Civic coupe with a P28ecu Hondata s300 just did a jdm B20 swap and everything is good I THINK except for Im getting a crank angle sensor code ! What do I do lto fix it? I thought JDM motors didnt have that sensor... UGH

Crank angle sensor is the sensor behind the front main seal(Timing belt side) right? If your talking about that I don't think JDM motors have those sensors.

The P28 ECU doesn't even have the circuitry for the crankshaft fluctuation sensor (CKF). Are you talking about the crankshaft position sensor? If so, this is inside the distributor.

What is the CEL code number? Is it code 4? If so, it's the CKP sensor inside the distributor. Measure it's resistance. And yes, a B20 has a CKP sensor.

im running the same code.. im curious are you getting a high rev when your driving but put it into neutral?
i believe if you change your distributor then it should take care of the problem thats what ive been told just havent done it yet to mine

No mine is just spitting and backfiring at low rpm, and at 4000 it acts like it has a rev limiter.
I m gonna change the crank sensor this week sometime if I can find one.

The crankshaft fluctuation sensor that is under the timing cover on the oil pump housing will not affect how the engine runs whatsoever. It's only duty is to detect a misfire and alert the ECU.
