Front passenger tire wearing on outside edge
Beware of this PROJECT!
Have a shop do a four wheel alignment.
If you are in the "Rust Belt" get ready for a lot of costs.
The adjuster necessary to adjust the alignment, in both the front and rear ends, have a tendency to rust the bolts into the bushings and freeze them solid.
This can take hours of work to free these up and many times, the bushing and bolt will be ruined and must be replaced.
The people who have a hoist, air tools and an acetylene torch can have a great deal of problems with these too.
Start this project in your garage and you may need to have a wrecker take it to a shop to be fixed.
This can be a nasty project.
I just chose to pay a shop $250 to have a shop replace the rear adjuster bolts in my 01 Civic EX so the rear end could be aligned.
It now drives great after the alignment and the tires were replaced.
