Default Overheating issue

Hello, I've got a 1998 Honda Civic DX hatch with the d16y7 that keeps having strange overheating problems and I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on it for me. It previously would overheat and then cool down and repeat that process occasionally, so I figured I might as well purge the coolant system and replace the coolant temp sensor as well as the thermostat annddd the water pump. I did so and the problem seemed to go away for probably a month or two now and I was driving today and the gauge started going up and I decided to park it and look into the problem, I don't have any broken hoses and the fans are still running fine. Could it be a radiator problem and if so how can I check that. Please let me know if you have any insight, thank you!

PS: Its also been having a rough idle on initial startup, but seems to go away
