92 EG Fuel Pump Mystery!
Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of restoring my 92 EG, B14b4 carby Civic.
I'm working through a power loss issue/surging issue and doing vacuum checks. So far I've found a few leaks by ear and feel without a test kit and replaced the spark plugs (proper vacuum leak test will be next when i can get my hands on a kit), replaced fuel filter (located just inside rear passenger wheel) and now working my way onto the fuel pump.
Here's the issue I'm having, from what I've gathered most EG's have the fuel pump next to the sending unit in the tank accessed under the rear seat. The sender is there, but there is no cap to access the pump. So i did some digging and found it may be in the rear of the fuel tank, so to my surprise after dropping the tank there is still no fuel pump...
I've searched high and low for any more information and diagrams on where the pump could be as I can't identify it in the engine bay either. Does any one have any insight to this or where it might be?
I had thought that the previous owner could have relocated it but still, it isn't identifiable to me if it is somewhere else on the car.
I can supply some images in the morning. Worth noting this is my first time working on a Honda so I'm learning bit by bit each day, so if it's a blatantly obvious solution I apologize.
Thanks for any insight!

The fuel pump is mechanical and is located on the right rear corner of the cylinder head near the distributor. This is why you aren't finding it in the tank.
