Default I'm having trouble putting my fuel pump back in

I can't put the fuel pump in its orignal position. Any ideas?

all i can say is be patient, it is just a pain in the ***,i feel sorry for honda techs, bimmer pumps are cake.it took me a while to fineagle myprelune pump in.

it just takes some patience and working with it, you will get it back in.

it just takes some patience and working with it, you will get it back in.
what he said. the little filter pickup will rub as it goes in, just rotate,push in,rotate, whatever it takes. my 92 took about 45 sec.

my fuel pump was the worse part of my install. i forgot my front end is jacked up, took off the fuel lines, and it all leaked into the rear of my cabin w/ the front end up. i even threw up in the car, w/ all the fumes.

but be patient, AND DO IT IN A VENTED AREA! im sure everyone else knows that already. i was just dumb.

Is it just the Walbro's and such everybody has trouble getting in...?

When i swapped to an ITR pump, i had no troubles getting it back in.

yea finally got it in, man i got so dizzy from the smell of the fuel.

****, at least you guys just have to take out your seat and work inside your car...i was about to throw the damn walbro across the room trying to fit it with the tank dropped, no room, and dirt falling all up in my ****...stupid old car
