Weird starting problem
I'll start by saying this problem occured when I tried installing a kill switch to my ignition wire then my ignition fuse blew, since then I have replaced the old ignition with a JDI push to start in the hopes of it maybe fixing the problem but it didn't. Now when my key is in the ignition and I turn it, it turns on all the electronics, fuel pump ect. on but the car doesnt crank, click nothing not a single sound. Currently to start my car I unplugged the starter wire and plugged in my own wire running to a button that has another wire running to the battery to give it that spark to start. Could this be a wire harness issue or something to do with the starter?

I see you have a 92 Civic...what trim level? Auto or manual transmission? If auto, there is a switch at the shifter that will not allow the starter to get power unless the shifter is in park. If manual, there is a switch on the clutch pedal that goes to a under-dash relay, which must be engaged for the starter to get power. You may have damaged one of these switches or relays when you blew the ignition fuse.
Do you have a copy of the Factory Service Manual made by Helm, Inc.? If not, you should get a copy.

yes. The switch is probably fine, I would be more concerned with the relay that the switch controls.
I Don't think it's the switch because I made it where I dont have to push the clutch to start the car and I've had it like this since I've got the car and didn't have problems till my kill switch grounded out but I'll recheck the relays if it's not relay or the switch do you think it could be something deeper?
