Default Rusty rotors?

Does anyone get rusty rotors when their cars sits for a while? Mine do, even if I drive, it is a matter of hours before they start to rust again.

And armor all...makes them shiney, & keeps the rust off much longer.

If you don't know, I'm not gonna tell you.

On a serious note, the rust thing on the rotors is fine. It should disappear after you use the brakes a few times.

I noticed that, but i hate rust. I was wondering if it later would cut grooves into the rotor when i brake.
Would the Mugen rotors rust like this?

Why do some rotors rust, and some dont? Are our made of a better or lesser material?

Nope, M00gen rotors are made of a combination of titanium/aluminum/& top secret metal alloys that will not rust. They are the only rotor available that won't/

..........

Actually, I think that you have nothing to worry about from potential rust damage.

JDM rotors don't rust because they are made of a higher quality steel. What you have are the rotors that Honda sourced from General Motors. They are the same rotors you will find on an Oldsmobile Alero. That is why they rust . . .

yeah...I heard that the heat proof alloys tem to rust faster than other metals....you'll have to get really expensive Brembos (likethe ones one Porsches) to have the no rust effect.

its way too expensive..... it would have to have a "NO ACCIDENT" warrenty or your MONEY/LIFE back guarantee.

I always drive my car around the hood for a few minutes after i wash it (rarely) to get the water of the brakes. I dont care about the rust so much as the squealing....

Those are nice but are too much for what they are designed for:
For autocross and drag race only (limited to a short time race track driving) - Road race version under development. Road race version is expected to be released in 2003
