stock radio remove for prelude 97 and up, please help
I just bought a 97 prelude and wanted to remove the stock radio but don't know how to take it out. is there a easy way or I have to take out the whole dash in order to remove it? please help me if you know how to remove it without taking out a lot of stuff around it. thanks in advance.
Yank on the black center console cover and it will pull off since it is only held on by clips. The cover I'm talking about is around the radio and A/C controls. Then I think there are 4 screws holding in the bracket for the radio and bottom tray.
oh c'mon now.... this should be cake man.... listen...
there is a little flat cover that goes around the cd player. just get a flat head screw driver and pop this out all the way around(then u can get to the screws)... if im rite, it should be just like that, then there will be 4 phillips screw that are holding the cd player in .... take them 4 out.. and pull the cd player...

Heheehe....gl w/ that. That covering plate is a bitch to take off the first time around, that is if you don't want to snap it. That took the longest part of my install.
