Raising factory 6,800rpm redline on 600hp turbo J32A2
I am going to be running a Ferrea high performance spring set built exclusively by Ferrea for P2R Racing in a 600-650hp turbo J32A2 build, also Supertech Valves, JE forged pistons and Pauter Chrome-Moly rods all on an AEM Infinity 708 standalone.
Given the setup, what would you guys do for a redline, its 6,800rpm stock with a 4,800rpm VTEC activation.
I was thinking around 7,250rpm redline with a 4,000rpm VTEC activation.
I don't honestly want to rev too too high, I want to tune for low end torque and throttle response.
I want to make peak hp around 7,000rpm and good torque from 3,500 to about 5,500rpm.
I'm looking for a street/autocross/potentially hillclimb monster so something with grunt on the street.
