Default ecu help

i have a 00 civic with a d16z6 head with a y8 bottom end and i have a chipped p28 can anyone tell me what harness to get

Assuming you've not swapped out the stock engine and chassis harness, I'm at a 10.

2000 Civic engine harness, chassis harness, and stock ECU = OBD2B.

P28 ECU = OBD1.

No. Z6 is 92-95 civic. Y8 is 96-2000 civic.

However, as far as the wiring for the ECU is concerned, it should still be using the OBD2B harness.

also one more question.. since i bought the ecu 3 weeks ago and i haven’t used it yet doesnt it stop working or get erased bc it’s chipped as well
