Hello guys, ive just sourced all the parts for my mini-me for my d16y7 with a y8 head. But the only thing I need is an ECU, im located in the UK and theres none about whats so ever. I can only order them in from America for 150 pounds. But I can get hold of a d16z6 ecu for 40 pound here in the UK.
So my question is, can I run a d16y8 mini me on a d16z6 mapped ecu? Or will it be completley wrong. I get the feeling it wont work, but I was just wondering if its possible. Cheers anyway guys!

d16z6 ecu = P28 = one of the most configurable and supported ECUs out there.
the stock P28 will run the setup for a little while, just have it tuned soon.
keep in mind if you're car is OBD2 you'll also need an OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness.

yer i every where in the UK is charging like 150-200 pounds for a d16y8 mapped p28, I think I might go with the p2p and just wire up the knock sensor...i can get one for 70 quid and then wont need to spend another 60-70 on a obd2-obd1 harness...cheers though guys!
