2016 CRV valve adjustment
I will be performing a valve adjustment on my 2016 CRV with K24W9 Earth Dreams engine. I have spent this morning researching HondaTech and the internet for the jam nut torque value and the valve clearance. I find other K24 engine values, but not for the K24W9 engine. Perhaps they are the same? I found a torque value of 14 lbf-ft on intake valves and 10 lbf-ft on the exhaust valves. And 9 - 11 mm on the intake valves and 11 - 13 mm on the exhaust valves. are these values correct? Thanks your for time.
Valve Clearance
Intake:
0.21-0.25 mm (0.009-0.009 in)
Exhaust:
0.25-0.29 mm (0.010-0.011 in)
Locknut Specified Torque:
14 N·m (1.4 kgf·m, 10 lbf·ft)
Apply new engine oil to the nut threads.

I am sorry for questioning you, I want to make sure because older models of K24, had same valve clearance, if I am not mistaken. But K24W9 is with direct inject, unlike the older ones, so the clearances might be different.
Are the numbers above applicable in particular for Honda CR-V 2018 motor K24W9?

Sorry if it is a stupid question, but how/where do we apply new engine oil to? we are loosening and tightening the locknuts right? or does that only apply if we are replacing the bolts?
