Doesn't it go by year, 1996? Given everything is native to your car since it's 98, I would suggest it's OBD2. Do you have a diagnosis port?

OBD2 Is what I would have thought but the OBD2 ECU is way way different?

I don't think you have any obd with that 2 plug ecu. Looks like Indian/Pakistan market car.

You're likely going to have to replace the whole cabin harness.

The cabin harness behind the heater core, it plugs into drivers side fuse box, contains the ecu plugs and goes to the headlights.

By the looks of my plugs, they are like A & D plugs from an obd1?

It isn't ANY of the "OBD" types listed above. The "Diagnostic" platform in your car is likely a first generation version... but that doesn't mean that it is OBD-1. The first generation type only provides a two-wire or three-wire diagnostic plug to promote the MIL to flash in a specific pattern to illustrate the engine codes stored. An OBD-2X style system requires a 16-pin SCS plug... I bet you don't have one of these in your vehicle.

In short: It matters not what "OBD" system you have... and the ECU wiring plugs you have pictured above do not match ANYTHING offered here in the US for the members here assist you. I provided more info in your other thread.
