Default P13 OBD2 indentification

I did a H22A4 OBD2 swap in my 1992 Prelude. I paid for the swap and I just picked it up. How can I tell if I have an OBD I or and OBD II P13 ECU?

see if the ecu plugs into your car, if it does, you have an obd I, if not you have an obd II one. but if it's obdII you'll most likely have a p5p? i think that's what the h22a4's on the 5th gens come with? don't quote me on that tho

http://www.slhondaparts.com allows you to look up the parts by model and year and you can get teh specific part number for each year of ecu. it is HIGHLY unlikely they put a 1996 p13 in there....

5th gen ecus are p5p and p5m (sh - atts)

if you have a 1996 prelude vtec ecu, its the only obd2 p13 you can get and is very rare.....the p5p and p5m are also unlikely because they use an immobilizer.....you probably just have an obd1 p13

It is already pluged in and running as the guy I paid to do the swap did his job.

Yes but the 96 ODB2 was a P13? something. I believe i was p13a I read that here on HT somewhere.

Do a search. It is a rare ECU an unlikely that someone would have used it for your swap.

You should be using an ODB1 ecu - ie. p13. I don't see why they would have converted your car to ODB2. Way to much work

My ECU is a P13-A10 so I assume this means it is an OBD1?
