Post D16 Head Swap

So I currently have a y7 and I want to swap the head. I have a z6 head laying around and wanted to know If it would fit in my 98 I am also swapping out the trans to manual and the ECU that I have is the P2P-A33 now I know that the z6 head is an obd1 but is there any way to connect the obd1 to obd2.

you would have to use the z6 distributor which you would have to rewire to obd 2 wiring. I have read where some have supposively used the setup you are describing successfully but really IMO it would easier to just get another Y7 or even Y8 head where you can reuse all you have mininal work except it you decide to use the Y8 intake. I assume the P2P-A33 is obd-2a (96-98)
