Default PM6 ECU Code Help

So I have done alot of reading back and forth between this form and many others.

I have a PM6 ECU and it is flashing 20 times. I have read it doesn't go to 20 or that 20 is 2 long lights. So I am sorta confused. Is it a 20 or is it just a 1? Its basically on off on off on off ect... 20 times. Then it takes like a 2-3 sec pause and repeats. Can any one help me with this issue.

Is it a ELD issue?

This is in a 88 hatch with a D16A6.

The electric load detector (ELD) is a circuit in your engine fuse panel that can tell when there is an electrical load and adjusts the idle and alternator output. You can search online for "ef civic eld" and get some useful info.

If the car is driving fine without it you should be OK, but you may notice headlights dimming under load, for instance if the fans, defroster, or other accessories are on. Mine has been disabled for a while through Hondata and I haven't noticed any issues aside from what I mentioned.

usually the cause for the code 20 is an underperforming alternator - diodes bad
