intake manifold or cams
well im trying to decide the next mod on my built lsV setup. not sure to go intake manifold like victor x or new cams and port the stock intake manny for now. need some opinions.
my bad its a lsVtec with pistons/rods/springs/retainers/gsr cams/b16 head/ top mount 35r making 500hp. has a stock b16 intake manifold and nothing is ported. was thinking victor x to open up the top end so when I get cams it will make that much more a difference. or since my goal is about 600-650 for now until i get a better block to just go cams and port the stock manifold to tb and head. then when i get the new block ill get the head ported. after that ill need to worry about trans upgrades before more power.

I swapped to the victorX more for the extra room under the hood but it does flow nice. You need 3 things at once to be beneficial....1.....I would get cams which would bump your power curve to a higher range ....2.... get a throttle body and intake manifold upgrade ......3...harmonic balancer . You need that combo of items to see the full benefits of each component

Depends upon the size of the turbocharger and the purpose. Pro1 is an option, but not the only option depending upon the use. But I do think that camshafts will help more than any intake manifold. You also need to state your purpose of the car. Just describing the setup gives too many loose interpretations.

Edit, its on a 35r as previously stated
In that case, honestly, I'd still say the camshafts. You're going to get a few ponies in the top end from the Intake manifold, but the camshafts will do more for you. Eventually, you'd need both anyway, but at least with the camshafts, you only have to retune with those. Not with the Intake manifold.
Good luck with whichever you decide.
