Icon5 Long start problem

Hello, car is a 98 prelude stock h22a4. Just bought it.
Starter cranks motor over at a decent speed for about 10 seconds, and then at honda-fast speed for about 10 seconds before finally slowly starting up. Then it idles fine with no codes. Any ideas? I have already replaced the fuel pump and filter, and am starting with around 13 volts. I do have a stupid ebay CAI but looks intact and revs fine once it is on. Drained 3 month old gas and put in a few newer gallons. Thanks in advance if this problem has already been addressed in another thread and you can send me the link.

Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key to "on"?

I figured it out. A blown head gasket with no compression means trouble starting. Hurray.
