Can someone show me the location of the crank position sensor on my 2004 Honda Pilot w/ 3.5L engine? With video on how to change it would be awesome but the location would help. I’m guessing a cover must come off first...
Re: 2004 Honda Pilot crank position sensor location
It is located next to the oil pump. Behind the crank pulley and lower timing belt cover. Part # 17 is the CKP sensor. In post # 6 of this other thread are some photos of the actual CKP sensor once the crank pulley and cover are removed. https://www.piloteers.org/threads/oi...0/#post-379569
The connector to the CKP sensor is visible without removing anything.
