Are there two of those sensors then? Cause I found it and it was right to the left of the oil filter

The sensor you have found and talking about is the knock sensor.

Hi,
Why don't you explain the fault you’re experiencing, plus any diagnostic fault codes to explain you’re reasoning why you need to change timing sensor.

BTW No you don't need to remove the pulley to change the CKP sensor

You probably did find the CKP sensor.

The first image is from a 2012 CR-V parts diagram.

The second image is for the CKP sensor location for a 2011 CR-V, which is similar to the location for the 2012 CR-V.

Check the wiring and connector first, as P0335 is CKP sensor no signal.

So that sensor is just left of the oil filter and has a little black cover on it?
