Default OBD1 conversion problems. Can't pull codes WTF

I plugged in Kenji's chipped P28, and his conversion harness today.

00 JDM ITR, 2000 Si harness, 99 Civic hatch

I knew it was going to throw a code or two because of the vtec pressure switch, but the problem is we can't even pull codes from it. We hooked up the scanner, waited 15 seconds, and we got nothing. It won't read it. The CEL is on!

The idle fluctuates for about 15 seconds (up, down, up, down, up, down) then it will calm to about 1300. It does this everytime I let it go to an idle.

My questions are:

-Would not having a vtec pressure switch be causing all this?
-Is there an OBD1 component that I need to include somewhere when converting OBD2 - OBD1?

I wasn't getting any CEL's before when I was running the CTR ecu.

HELP! thanks

You have to hook a wire up to ECU pin D4 (If you have a complete harness it is a BRN wire and jumper it to the GRN/WHT wire on D22

Nope, scanners just don't work with OBD conversion ****.

But the idle thing.. yea I fixed that. Had to plug up the cruise control vacuum on the back of the intake manifold.

The check engine light was my vtec pressure switch.. and I now have one.

Man I feel weird reading my old stuff..
