Default Timing issues ?

I have a 93 Honda Del Sol Si with a Gsr swap. About a week ago I left my house was maybe going 15 mph and car suddenly shuts off , I pulled over and noticed my belt ripped I pushed it back to my house. Next day I bought a new belt lined up the crank to TDC and then adjusted my ajustable cam gears to the marks. I turned the car on and everything sounded and looked right. I took it out for a spin and noticed slight power lose , motor does have work done , she use to spin mid 1st gear and chirp hard into 2nd but now just feels slower and no wheel spin .. not sure what’s going on just looking to see if maybe I did something wrong. Thank you guys in advance.

You might have bent some valves! start with a compression check and then a leak down test you see if there is air escaping through the bent valves.

You might have got lucky and have no bent valves but that's usually what happens when the belt breaks.

If the distributor has not been moved then I don't suspect the ignition timing to be off. But double check that the engine lines up to TDC at the crank and at the cam gears and that the engine is not still a tooth or two off timing.

Adjust/ check the valve lash! and pray they got tight when the belt broke or something,

worse case pull the head and have it rebuilt.

i thought that as well but since I was moving slow at low rpms I didn’t really think the valve would bend but thanks man I’ll double check tomorrow !

You said adjusted the adjustable cam gears, did you actually loosen the cam gear locks and turn?
