timing belt slipped 93 del sol dohc. Need timing information
Anyone here have a graphic or pciture of the correct marks to use for the timing harmonic ballancer TDC for the timing belt? I used the one mark about 2 inches away from the three indentation marks as tdc. Cam shaft pully is right on with both marks 9 and 3 oclock and one at 7 oclock on.
Cannot get compression in cylinders. Perhaps Im using the wrong marks on the ballancer? I do not have a big fat compressor to run my impact gun to take off the hamonic ballancer to look at the crank timming belt gears marks, so must resort to using marks on ballancer. The timming tensioner was sticky, and thus the belt was loose and slipped. I pulled up the tenssioner arm with a hook and tightened up the belt. Tming is stiff off with uneven or no compression on the cylinders. so I wonder, what are the right marks to use on the harmonic balancer?
Pictures would be great.
