Default Odd TPS Issue d16

Hey everyone! I'm having a weird problem with what I believe is my TPS. I just picked up s300 v2 for my fresh vitara build. I calibrated the TPS with no issues and under sensors it reads just fine when the car is off with datalogging on. However when I drive the car I seem to get a 0% reading on the TPS and whenever I hit ~2000rpm the car just completely cuts out and doesn't respond to throttle until the rpm falls back down to ~1000rpm. Is this just simply my TPS that needs to be replaced? Just weird how it appears to work with the car off but doesn't like to work while driving the car. Is it possibly due to vibration from when the engine is running? Any help is greatly appreciated if anyone has experienced this.

so I replaced the tps, still doing it. What I figured out is the tps is actually reading but there seems to be a dead spot for the first little bit of my pedal. After that dead spot is when the tps begins to read, as long as the tps is above 0% the car won't cut out but as soon as I let off the gas it cuts. Is there something in the ecu that may be causing the car to cut out while I'm accelerating with a tps reading of 0%? How do I go about making the tps read as soon as my pedal pushes in? Would tightening the throttle cable do so? It didn't cut out on the stock ecu and had 0 problems so I'm not sure what's going on.

Zero the TPS in the s300 with the engine running.

Your supposed to calibrate the TPS in Hondata/ Smanager with the engine OFF not ON! then save the new calibration before starting the engine. Make sure to click the yellow Lightning bolt to get live data logging when you go for a drive.

Minimum reading - is the default TPS reading when the throttle is fully closed. The Set button

Maximum reading - is the default TPS reading when the throttle is fully open.

Read - reads from the ECU and sets either the minimum or maximum throttle to the current TPS reading. When setting the minimum reading, ensure the throttle is fully closed, when setting the maximum, open the throttle fully. This should be not be done with the engine running.

Calibrate the TPS in Smanager and save the new settings.

That does not work on any of the throttle bodies with a dashpot. You will get a false zero reading.

Unfortunately, the OP did not provide car or detailed engine information.

man now that you mention it, is it possible that my Overrun fuel cutoff is set too high so between 0.1-1.0% tps my injectors are just shutting off? It really does feel like a fuel cut of some sort.

It's a skunk2 intake manifold on a d16z6 with a 70mm speedfactory throttle body, stock tps, 1994 civic.

Has the S300 been tuned or what base map are you using?

Make sure what ever base map you choose the Injector size you are using is correct and saved in the base map as well as the injector dead times, if you don't have the dead times they do have a quick select to start with. also make sure the Map sensor you are using matches what is in the calibration

Make sure you calibrate the TPS and SAVE the new settings, it sounds like you didn't calibrate/save the setting for TPS.
