Just got the chance to tune this thing and figured I’d show it to you guys. The tune was pretty conservative just trying to keep it nice and safe for the owner to go out and have fun with it. Should be more then enough power for a 1100lb or less sand rail. The front end felt like it wanted to pickup on the dyno lol. Power output would have been a little higher on some smaller tires as well, these were 33x12.5x15’s. On 13.5lbs of boost. Really happy with how the torque curve looks it should have a nice fat powerband.

 

That is a thing of beauty! Should be fun to rip up the dunes!

 

Yeah it turned out really nice. My buddy Sam at sams fabrication did an awesome job putting it back together nicely. Its had probably 10 different engine setups in it over the years including a 600 hp vw motor on 35lbs of boost with hilborn mechanical injection running methonal or so the owner told me. I think he will be allot happier with this engine setup for the longevity and the power potential is there if he wants to turn it up down the road.
