Stock K20A2 w/GT3071R, 502whp/399tq!
We are starting to get ready for the IFO event up here @ Pacific Raceways on June 27, and Jeff has decided to run his daily driven K20 turbo EK hatch in the FIS (forced induction sport) class.
So we finally got Jeff back on the dyno and turned the boost up. His setup is really not designed for drag racing with such a small turbo, but he wanted to get whatever he could out of it. We were all very happy with the results!
502whp/399tq @ 19psi dropping to 16.5psi
Setup:
Stock K20A2
GT3071R .48a/r
Precision 1000cc injectors
Prototype Golden Eagle K-series Intake Manifold
E85
Excellent power for such a small responsive turbo, and I stopped there because we were out of injector.
Plenty of power to get him well into the 10's with an ultra-responsive street setup! I thought this was pretty cool and wanted to share.

Very nice. I like a lot. I'm on the edge of weather or not to build another bigger better b series, or go k. I just have so much b series stuff. Anyhow, that thing looks like I would be pretty fun, real nice torque.

nice work guys!! i think the fis class is gonna have alot of fast cars sandbagging to avoid getting booted for no safety equipment haha

Nice work james.
Other than on base, are there any options for getting e85 around here?
IFO is gonna be a lot of fun, it's sure looking like i might need need some more power to be competitive in FIS.

Are you sure about that exhaust housing size?
What turbo manifold?
GREAT power. The 3071 should be running out of breath right about there, also.

I'm assuming he is using the precision turbo T3 .48 a/r turbine housing. Garrett does not make one that size.

I didn't initially think it was really a T3 .48 a/r either, but it's cast into the housing and visually looks like a .48a/r.
It hits 10psi by 3500rpm, 15psi by 3800rpm.

haha the owner of the car (jeff) told me today that after he left the shop yesterday he rolled on it in 6th and it would light the tires up in the rain

Nah im good on the street tires right now.. once you get kicked out cant come back so why do it... 11's on street tires is impressive enough
