What size TB and Injectors for H23A with Nitrous???
I have a 1998 prelude with H23A swap, currently stock bottom end and will do some stuff to the head...P28 OBD1 with SST chip Rich Tune flashed, currently 35shot and ready to buy header, TB, IM, Injectors, fuel rail, FPR, fuel pump, V springs, retainers, Cams and whatever else i can bolt on. Once ive got everything ill be installing it all and the 75 shot and straight to Rich Tune Motorsports for the dyno and tune... My tunner is out of town at the moment so im asking what size TB and Injectors to buy and what IM to buy....H2K or a H series?? Any input??
What type of shot are you using, dry or wet?
How big of cams are you thinking?
Those do make a big difference, at least on the injectors side.
When I was buying parts for my car, some very well versed H people said to get as much volume as I could in the IM, and big TB as well. I ended up doing a fully gutted and ported stock IM and running a 76mm TB. This did involve losing the IAB as well, but that hasn't been an issue. If you are doing a wet shot, you may be ok with your injectors now unless your tuner has said otherwise, but if you are running dry shot, or big enough cams to really need it, just go up to ID 850-1100 size injectors. They flow better than factory, and are easy to tune with a good amount of headroom.
My build was an H23 frankenstein build with H22A pistons, Pro1 cams, and I also ran a 100 shot occasionally.
Oh, and I am going to get this moved to the Prelude section.
