Default Question: How are YOU shifting gears on your turbo Honda? Is there a "right" way?

I have a 5 speeds manual, honda i4 with basic turbo system.
for daily driving, i don't go over 3k rpm, car never sees/hears turbo spooling but save lots of gas, shift into proper gears

for power, i do this and wonder what's the typical rpm and mph when you shift on yours
1st gear i redline or just to 5krpm at ~25mph plus
2nd gear, floor it to redline or around there which give 65mph plus
3rd gear, step on and it sends to 75mph plus fast
there is no lag in this scenario, and wastegate dump is loud
when you do shift to 4th gear?

for curiosity, while driving 45mph in 4th gear, i upshift to 5th which sends rpm to 2k. floor it will have no power, and take forever to spool. is this bad for turbo? is it ok to drive like it or not?
thanks

‘there’s no one way to drive a personal car..... it’s whatever feels best to the person driving. If your asking for peak performance, that’s a whole different answer. Daily driving I rarely go above 4K rpms , at the track I shift 9500 rpms

What engine? I'm running a Z6 with a DX trans and we see totally different results here. 1st gear, I'll shift about 4k, 30ish mph.. 2nd, I take to 50ish, 3rd, 105, 4th, needle buried.. Driving "easy", I keep it basic.. 2nd to 40, 3rd to 50, 4th to 60, 5th cruise at 70.. Average fuel economy ranges from 30-34mpg.
Edit: Demanding the turbo to work from 2k rpm is harsh, yeah. Romp on the gas 3k and above in 3rd or 2nd gear (45 and below).
