(all figures are shown with a 8400 rpm Redline, and 195/55/15 tires)

This was just Presented as a Guide into what differant setups's are available, i know I did not cover all possible setup's. and I only included a 195/55/15 tire (23.44 inch tire diameter) by addin differant size Tire's the possibility's are endless.
But now you can see some actual number;s instead of just what people say

Thats useful inforamtion. I myself have been deciding whether or not to do a new FD maybe next winter. I keep hearing everyone say how worth it it truly is.
Need to run into a little more $$ though

That's strange. On my stock ITR tranny, shifting at redline gets me back into VTEC range for every gear. Below you list the 1-2 shift being at 5474 which would be out of VTEC range.
Or maybe I just shift faster than you

I only included a 195/55/15 tire (23.44 inch tire diameter) by addin differant size Tire's the possibility's are endless.
here's a thought, what would it be if the overall tire diameter was 21.7 inch with just a stock ITR tranny with the JDM Honda FD(4.7)
what difference would it be?

well this would be your gearing
1st gear - - -35.1mph
2nd gear - - -53.8mph
3rd gear - - -77.7mph
4th gear - - -102mph
5th gear - - -133.6mph
rpm in 5th at 70mph is 4401
your shift up speed would be stock.

With Stock Type R gearing what rpm are you at when you are going 60 mph??
Thinking of getting a type r tranny so just need to know a few things.

that is a small tire. smaller than a 195/45/15(21.9)
so correct me again, there would be a difference with 21.9 inch overall diameter?
thank you

I believe his calculations are off because he's using an assumed 8400 rpm redline (stock itr rev limiter = 8600). Many of us rev to 9200-9500 and that makes a difference in where the rpm's land on upshifts.
