Came with the block when I bought preowned forged piston rod shortblock turbod not sure
. I will replace the hose but the angle is what I’m inquiring about honestly that angle okay. Or should I cut the flange on turbo side a little shorter

^^^ I, myself, can not POSSIBLY stress this one enough. Get a good return hose.

Or you'll wind up having THIS **** happen..

I was on the road and driving when my oil light flickered, then came on solid. I pulled over to see I had no oil and saw the return hose had split. This was after about 800ish miles post rebuild startup. The hose was brand new too. Get the heavy duty Gates hose and put any worry behind ya!

Agreed. A good, solid return hose is just as important as the angle. You can't just put some dinky hose on there and expect everything to be all good.

The angle itself looks "fine". I would suggest changing the hose to an oil safe version while making sure that it is a 5/8 hose and NOT 1/2".
