I changed out dseries s20 blown up tranny to s40, new clutch and all components, new flywheel, new cylinders and bled quite a few times.

Car starts fine, shafts are in, release bearing is moving with fork but the clutch is not engaging.
Its installed properly all bolts tightened to spec. I can change gears with car on but car wont move.

Some insight before i do take it back as to things to look for. Ideas perhaps.

Are you able to change gears without pushing the clutch in while the car is running?

What brand and model clutch did you install?

 

I think you are thinking of the intermediate shaft. Some D series do have them.

I mean axles, aka, halfshafts.
