Fuel presure drops 5psi/hunting idle. turbo k24 DC4
- 98 dc4 K24/20 6266
To start: the pressure drops at the exact time the idle does, drops about 5 psi and the idle drops a good 1K RPM. Brand new ID 1050x, 6an feed/return, ktuned FPR set to 43.5 psi, the fuel pump is the bone stock 98 Rs(80 lph) one. Kpro set to 1000cc and dead time set from the pull menu to DW 1000cc. It will idle fine at start up then 10 seconds later it starts hunting, car uses an electric eater pump/tucked rad set up and ktuned filler neck so bleeding was easy. Brand new Ktuned 4bar map and acuity tps. Ktuned tucked harness so I KNOW I didn't mix anything up.
This idle is one of the last things stopping me from doing a shakedown and getting it tuned

To be honest I don't know enough about that to remotely say, I just used the pull down menu in kpro and all they had listed was DW injectors/stock. I'd just like to run it up and down the rd to make sure it has no real issues and end up being kicked off the dyno kinda of thing. I can post a vid tomorrow, but it just revs up and down by a good 1000 rpm till you turn it off.

Should mention this is with the Ktuned 90mm TB and 90mm Ktuned intake manifold. Closed the throttle plate as much as I physically could and re scaled the TPS and it doesn't hunt anymore. Starts off at 1400, then goes slowly to 1800ish and just stays there till you blip the throttle then it goes 1400 for a while. Sounds perfectly find when you rev it no stuttering or poping etc. guess that's aceptable
