Default running p05 ecu on frankenstien motor

So I have this ratty 94 civic hatch beater. I think It has been in a front end crash before. Its a CX and the previous owner for some reason thought it wise to replace the engine with a d16z6 but then put the head from the cx engine back on it. So its sort of a reverse mini me. It has been hastily converted to a 1 wire O2 sensor. It came with the p05 ecu for the head and the p28 for the block. I am wondering if there would be any problem in using the p05 ecu with this engine or if I should really be using the p28 and look into properly converting to 4 wire and just ignore the vtec sollenoid engine check light until I get the time to swap the right head back on it. I have the proper head but I don't want to get into a head swap right now until I get my other car working.
also: if I wire up the 4 wire 02 sensor and then go back to the p05 (unchipped) will it work just without heater capability or will it case issues?
