okay I've read almost every forum out there on putting integra brakes on my 97 civic dx. and I still dont have a solid answer. I'm using a 99 Acura integra steering knuckles with all the OEM parts to go on my civic. the only difference will be a bigger brake piston correct? from what I've read the rotors are the same size as the civics along with pads. but my main question can I use 99 integra knuckles on my 97 civic to get a slightly better braking power? the integra knuckles are longer so how do you deal with the camber? I'll be lowered on coilovers soon, it's a project car and the whole front suspension is ripped out to get a refresh and powder coat so I figured get some better brakes from the junk yard while I'm here. will the integra knuckles work on my civic and I can get a perfect alignment. someone help please.. pictures just showing what i started with, nothing to do with my question really
The knuckles swap right out. May be a tad taller, but it’s not a huge deal. Upgrade to a 15/16” or 1” master cylinder might be a good idea, too.
if they swap out would an alignment be an issue? I would like a perfect alignment no camber or anything, do you know this from experience? I know they will bolt up I'm concerned about alignment. also can I use the MC off the integra? I have the integra trailing arms for my car also

I have 1995 Integra front knuckles and rear trailing arms on my 2000 Civic. I got some Megan adjustable front upper control arms since the car would be a tad lower due to the springs and extra weight of my swap, but they’re adjusted all the way out and probably weren’t even necessary since the alignment machine showed the alignment to be right at spec. I would just bolt them on since they are only like 3/4” taller than the Civic ones and do a rough check of the alignment with a square (the big L shaped kind) on a garage floor.
I used an MC from a 2000 Integra Type-R. Bolts directly to the brake booster, and the lines attach without having to bend them.
Integra rear trailing arms are identical (afaik) to the Civic Si.

Yes. Yes, it would.
EDIT: I’d get Hardrace uppers if I really needed some. Some people hate in Megan stuff, but I didn’t want to spend an arm and leg for something I wasn’t sure was necessary while at the same time wanted something better than eBay quality.
okay thank you everyone very much, one more question I could return the integra knuckles to the junk yard and swap them out for civic EX knuckles. I've rear the integra calipers can be bolted onto the ex knuckle with zero issue. would this be a better option?
