Re: Civic brake upgrade
is there a difference between the integra ls and the integra gs brakes? and if i do get integra brakes when i buy suspension parts they have to be integra suspensin correct?

Re: Civic brake upgrade
i only know about about the trailing arms, i kept all my suspension when i changed the trailing arms. gsr brakes might have bigger up front but i think rears are the same

Before switching to Integra brakes, make sure you wouldn't already be using the same components. I looked in a brake parts catalog and the 94-95 Civic EX uses the same front brakes, (caliper, rotor and pad) as the 94 Integra. The DA and DC integras used the same rear rotor, just different calipers, pads and a couple other parts. I believe the 96-01 Integra uses the same rear brakes as the 1999-00 Si. At the very least, I know they use the same brake lines and the E-brake cable is similar. Maybe a 1996-00 Civic will have some model that used the same parts as an Integra. At the very least, you'll know what other cars you could salvage parts off of to get "Integra" brakes. Sorry if I'm off a little on years or have a couple details wrong, I'm working purely off memory here.
Despite common belief, the GS, LS, RS and GSR all use the same brakes. The ITR however uses Acura Legend brakes, if not brakes very similar to them.
There are other brake setups, I believe using some parts off an Accord wagon and other junk. Another setup uses the Legend caliper and rotor I believe, but the rotors have to be redrilled... At least on the EG, most of the cool brake setups use the EX/Si knuckle, which had larger front brakes than the LX, CX...

Re: Civic brake upgrade
^^ the RS brakes are non abs (correct me if I'm wrong) mc, prop, and booster change
XINTGR what trim is your coupe
if you have an ex you also have bigger brakes like the eg ex's
on ex knuckles you can put acura legend calipers ( two piston),just use the type r bracket I believe, with a prelude si rotor with the 4x100 bolt pattern drilled out at a machine shop and those are 11 1/4 inch in diameter
there's a sight but I don't know how to put the link on

Re: Civic brake upgrade
True, but for most of us, I don't see the ABS being much of an issue.
If I'm not mistaken, one of the swaps requires milling the Civic bracket down a little.
You can just list the URL and it becomes a link, like so. http://www.google.com/
