What size injectors would be best for a b18a1/b1 turbo build
Hi guys I'm trying to figure out what size injector would be best for my b18a1 build I have a fish scaled crank wiseco 8.6:1 com 8.3:1 compression pistons golden eagle rods apr2000 rod studs and bearing for the bottom end a b18b1 head with forged valves and springs with 282 turbo cams with a ported intake and a 70mm skunk throttle body I have a 60 trim turbo trying to get the best build out of it my first turbo build so I need a little help?
Your horsepower goal will determine your fueling needs. There are lots of fuel injector sizing calculators on the internet. Make sure you give yourself some safety margin on duty cycle.
If you're just looking for an answer to a question, get 1000cc and call it a day.
Assuming T3/T04e 60 trim, you're capped at about 450whp, so with that you need about 6cc/whp.
450 x 6cc = 2700cc total
2700cc / 4 injectors = 675cc minimum.
With that, i'd go for either 720s or 880s. If you plan to make more power in the future or if you switch over to e85, it might make sense to pick up a set of 1000s right off the bat.
