Default Throwing Code but doesn’t show on hondata ?

I have a 99 ex coupe with a high comp jdm b20b in it. On the chipped ecu There was no codes and ran fine on basemap. I put my hondata s300 v3 ecu in and my engine light comes on but no codes show up ? I was able to data log and everything. 2step is set up. I have Duralast plug wires and Ngks spark plugs could that be the issue ?

What ECU platform ??? What basemap are you using ??? Usually, a "phantom code" is created from an ECU/program conflict. For example, you have the knock sensor turned on in your basemap program but the ECU is a P28... which has no knock circuitry and thus, no code for knock exists in the ECU's trouble codes library, yet the program looks for it. The program detects the missing sensor, but the ECU cannot identify what is missing.

My chipped ecu was a p75 with a b20 basemap . I put the hondata in a p06 I believe(or other way around) Ill double check when I get home But I had someone clean it up( Not some random dude on fb) till Im ready for an actual tune . Although On the chipped ecu My idle would hunt here n there.

Just got home and It was the p75 we put the hondata in. P75 doesnt look for knock sensor , so is that what you meant by the ecu having No knock circuitry/No code exists in the ecu trouble codes library ?

Exactly. Double check your tune and make sure that the Knock sensor is turned off in the program.

Try to erase the ecu and reload the map. The b20 baseman shouldn’t be looking for vtec.
