Default Wires please help!!!

I'm gonna drop pics. This is in my 98 ex. Before I bought it the y8 blew and was swapped with a y7. My harness is still the original that came in the ex. I have these 2 wires that are cut and run to nothing. Black and blue/black. What are these? I can't find the wires for the vtec selonoid, which shouldn't be hooked to anything. I know these aren't it. Knock sensor wires maybe? I don't have a cel or anything. I haven't chased the wire looms back far yet but someone plz at least confirm what these wires are for? I'll drop pics below. Thanks!

That is for the vtec pressure switch. It tells the computer when the vetc solenoid is working

And the actual Vtec solenoid wire is green and yellow correct? I've yet to find that one. Idk if I have a knock sensor plugged into my block because I've yet to look. I'm thinking maybe whoever did the swap just threw it and and left it wired up, because the y7 block has a place for it even though the ecu doesn't use the knock sensor in a y7. The only reason I'm trying to sort this out is because I plan to do a y8 head swap I'm the near future. Thanks!

yes the vtec solenoid is a singe green and yellow wire and for your reference the knock sensor wire will be red and blue if you try to find it.

There is a "wiring and sensor guide" at the top of this forum that has all the wire colors.

That engine harness is a mess. You could remove it from the car for a more thorough inspection and also tape it back up so it looks like a harness rather than a jumble of wires.

I agree and I may do just that. Whoever did the swap did a real hack job. Lol
