Default can't seem to do any better on my b18b...

hi guys, i finally took my car out to the track again. my first time ever was in august, doing 15.7 at 87 mph. i ran it again last week and did worst... 15.8 at 87 mph. do u think something is wrong w/ my motor? the mph time seem very low for b18b w/ gsr tranny. u think i should get a compression test? what is every one else doing? i'm so slow.

trap seems to be good for a mid maybe low 15. Post the entire slip and I can tell you more. If 60ft times are above 2.2, then you need to work on your launch.

sorry...i thought i put my launch in... i guess when i modified..i deleted it. anyway.. my 0-60 is about average of 2.4 but i've seen people 0-60 at 2.5, and still get better trap speed than me w/ my set up. just wondering if something is wrong w/ the motor itself. my set up is basic... just intake and exhaust. anyone else w/ this set up? i used the search function already... i didnt' find anything.

Didn't you say your best was 14.7 in another post? So your car is getting slower? I say check everything over, do a compression test. At least to make sure nothing's wrong.

14.7? i think u got me confused. there's a guy here with a similar avatar like me. except his dont have people...its just the sun setting. anyway... i remember i'v seen a fellow H-T member doing 15.9 consistently w/ almost the same set up as me. and there was another one doing 14.6 w/ the exact set up as me i just can't seem to find them. well..i guess i will do a compression test..and hope i find the problem. i'm just hoping the problem is me...and not my engine. i'm a crappy driver...but i didn't think i was that bad.... that's why i'm thinking its compression.

My fault, I confused you with the guy in this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=323351 I ran 14.8@93 before the tranny swap. Good luck w' the c. test if you do it.

thanks dude...that was the exact thread i was looking for...but i couldn't find it on search. he has the same exact set up as me...but manages a 14.7. thats like a whole second better than me. he even has a 2.4 launch at one point...and still managed a 15.1 at 92 mph. im so jeolous. either i suck real bad...or my engine just isn't acting like it should be. compression test is soon to come. maybe a dyno if i have xtra money.

your 60ft still need work...you should be looking for a 2.2 on street tires...if you can drop 2 tenths on the 60 u can ruffly drop 4 tenths on your ET...yea but i know how you feel...i felt the same with my car and still do...
